The European Commission will present a plan to overcome energy dependence on Russia.

By the end of March, the European Commission must submit proposals to ensure EU energy security during the following winter period, and by the end of May, a detailed plan for the gradual elimination of European Union dependence on imports from Russian energy carriers.
