The European Commission will allocate €1.2B to Ukraine.

The European Union will provide another 1.2B in financial assistance to Ukraine, announced European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen. This package will help Ukraine meet its financing needs through the conflict, the EC chief said in a special statement in Brussels broadcast by EU television. The Council of the EU and the European Parliament hopes to adopt this extraordinary package of macro-financial assistance as soon as possible. Then it will begin the rapid disbursement of the first tranche of 600M, added Von der Leyen.
