agricultural exports from Ukraine

In the export of grain from Ukraine, considering Russia’s attempts to block the sea corridor, it is necessary to focus on the development of land routes, believes EU Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski. The commisioner said the land corridors through Poland and Romania both passed the test. Since March, 20 million tons of grain have been exported from Ukraine, with 12.5 million tons by land and 7.5 million tons by sea. Wojciechowski is convinced that it is necessary to intensify the development of ground transportation solutions for grain export from Ukraine. The European Commissioner has given assurances that the EU will support this direction with its investment and could also be involved in constructing a vegetable oil pipeline from Ukraine to Poland.
