The EU will provide equipment

The EU will send €1.5B to Ukraine every month to restore the energy infrastructure destroyed by Russian attacks, said European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson. In addition to money, energy companies will also provide the necessary specific machinery and equipment to replace damaged elements. To support the restoration of Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure, European partners, together with the Energy Community, created the Energy Support Fund, which makes it possible to involve all European countries in assistance. As a result, the first transformers to replace damaged ones are already on their way to Ukraine.
