The EU supply electricity.

If the Russians continue to damage Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and the country faces an acute electricity shortage, the EU is prepared to help provide electricity, said the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson. According to the commissioner, all the necessary prerequisites for this are in place. Back in March, the Ukrainian power grid was synchronized with the network of continental Europe for two weeks. In this system, electricity can be transmitted in both directions. This means that Ukraine can both export and import electricity from the EU. At the same time, Simson specified that, first, the nearest neighbors could sell electricity to Ukraine. However, the volumes they can provide are limited by the capacity for trading agreed within the ENTSO-E European energy grid.
