In seven months, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) of Ukraine provided ₴4.84B in insurance and financial support for exporters. Each hryvnia in ECA-provided insurance liability was converted into more than ₴13 in future export earnings. Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko noted that through cooperation with the ECA, business reduced their risks, received cheap financing, and increased the volume of non-raw materials exports. This is what the Made in Ukraine economic policy, which provides support for domestic manufacturers, is aimed at. Since the beginning of the year, businesses from Kyiv, Lviv Oblast, and Vinnytsia Oblast have most often used the opportunity to obtain export credit under the ECA to insure a foreign economic activity contract. ECA clients exported the most to Poland (₴1B), UAE (₴888.2M), and Azerbaijan (₴811M). As for export commodity positions, the exported goods belonged to categories including milk and dairy products (₴2.53B), wood and wood products (₴1B), toys (₴268M), clothing (₴256M) and vegetable processing products (₴235M).
