The Netherlands, as part of the drone coalition, has already started supplying Ukraine with drones, the country’s Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren stated.
Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair announced that his country will transfer hundreds of modern combat drones to Ukraine this spring, worth almost CAD 100M ($73M).
“Canada will invest more than CAD 95M to provide Ukraine with more than 800 SkyRanger R70 drones,” Blair clarified.
In addition, Sweden will provide Ukraine with its largest-ever military aid package, for $682M. It will include CB90 landing craft, RBS 70 portable air defense systems, artillery ammunition, anti-tank equipment, grenade launchers, hand grenades, and medical transport. The aid also provides Ukraine with SEK 1B to purchase the CV 90 IFV.
At the same time, Bulgaria is delaying the delivery of 100 armored personnel carriers for the armed forces, as the Ministry of Defense has asked NATO to pay for transport costs.
