According to the results for the first three quarters of 2021, the Dnipropetrovsk region attracted the most foreign investments among all regions of Ukraine. The region’s investment volume grew by 15.6% compared to the previous year and amounted to $5.52B. According to the director of the regional investment agency, DIA Valentina Zatyshnyak, the largest share of foreign direct investment goes to industry, $3.8B, then to $915.1B wholesale and retail trade, and $772.8M was invested in the services sector. Foreign investments in the economy of the Dnipropetrovsk region came from 58 countries, 94.4% from EU countries.
