In November, consumer inflation slowed to 0.7% for the month, and on an annualized basis, it amounted to 26.5%. In the 11 full months of the year, consumer prices increased by 25.7%. The Ministry of Economy noted that the primary challenge for the economy in October-November was the destruction of the energy infrastructure, which led to a reduction in the length of working hours, difficulty in storing goods, etc. In addition, problems with the storage of food products and the destruction of agro-industrial complex facilities in animal husbandry significantly impacted the accelerated growth of prices for the food group, which rose by 4.2% in October and by 0.5% in November. Last month, only some items continued to increase in price, including eggs (by 10.6%), milk and dairy products (by 2.9-2.4%), and fish and fish products (by 2%). At the same time, the prices of fruit, processed grain products, pork, vegetables, and sugar fell by 6.9–1.1%.
