The demand for new cars in Ukraine increases by 60%.

In October, Ukrainians bought more than 5,700 new passenger cars, 83% more than last year, reported UkrAutoProm. Compared to September, consumer activity in this automotive market segment increased by 0.7%.

Toyota vehicles enjoyed their greatest demand last month, with 929 units registered. Compared to 2022, October sales of new Toyotas in Ukraine increased by 40%. The second most popular brand was Volkswagen, whose car registrations increased by 60% to 574 units. Skoda (+46%) is in the third position, and fourth place belongs to BMW (+255%). Renault closes out the top five (+60%).

The following brands also entered the top 10 in October: Nissan, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, and Peugeot. At the same time, the title of the month’s bestseller in the new passenger car market went to the Renault Duster – 387 cars. In 10 months of the year, Ukrainians purchased and registered 49,600 new passenger cars, which is 60% more than in the same period last year.
