Since last year, the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company has been transshipping its grain. The transshipment complex was recently modernized. “The supply of cargo from cars to the holds of barges was fully automated,” the company said.

The Danube Shipping Company noted that they now have two grain storage warehouses, one of which is fully mechanized. The company is also considering the possibility of creating another line in order to be able to load two barges simultaneously. The strategic goal is to move away from grain and work with different types of cargo – metal, fertilizers, construction materials, etc.

It is reported that the company has also begun work on another logistics complex to work not only with rivers but also with sea transportation.
