As reported by the country’s Minister of Defense, Jana Černochová, arms manufacturing companies receive export licenses to supply their products to Ukraine within the framework of international partnerships with the governments of other countries.
“There is little military property left that we could send to Ukraine. On the other hand, we will try to compensate for the impossibility of sending property from our stocks (because we do not want to jeopardize our defensive capability) with export licenses that we grant to private companies“, she said.
According to her, the Czech Republic has free production capacity to help Ukraine through private companies, a fact that is also known by partners abroad. Černochová reminded observers that Denmark has previously sent Ukraine 50 IFV, 2,500 pistols, 7,000 rifles, 500 light machine guns, and 500 sniper rifles, which were purchased from Czech manufacturers.
