The corona virus pandemic is not deterring Ukrainians from working in the EU.

Last year, the number of Ukrainians officially working in Poland rose by 8%, to 775,000. Remittances from Ukrainians working abroad – largely in the EU – is expected to increase this year by 8%, to $13 billion, predicts the National Bank of Ukraine. Labor is Ukraine’s second largest export, after food, and ahead of metals.
