On the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the international conference Energy for the Recovery of Ukraine is being held in Warsaw on November 14-15. Representatives of more than 500 companies from 30 countries will participate in the conference. Conference participants will discuss issues related to the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, energy security, the development of green energy, and the transformation of Ukraine into the energy hub of Europe.
As part of the conference, Ukrenergo and the Swedish company Ingrid Capacity AB have already concluded a memorandum of cooperation. Among the key goals of the cooperation is to increase the power grid’s resilience to various challenges and disruptions, including natural disasters, extreme weather events, and unexpected grid failures. In particular, this involves the development of energy storage systems capable of providing backup power during emergencies.
