The Canadian Parliament has condemned Russia’s crimes in Bucha and called for increased support for Ukraine.

The Canadian Parliament has passed a resolution condemning crimes against humanity and Russian war crimes in Bucha and calling for increased defense support for Ukraine. The Canadian Parliament also called for:

  1. The provision of further assistance to Ukraine to defend itself against Russian aggression;
  2. Action to ensure that crimes against humanity and war crimes are documented and that Russia is brought to justice for these crimes in the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice;
  3. The provision of much-needed economic support to Ukraine, including introducing further severe economic sanctions against the Russian regime and those who support it, including even tougher trade restrictions and economic sanctions, and the continued freezing of assets of Russian oligarchs and their families.
