The Breakthrough Energy Catalyst Foundation, which is supported by the world’s billionaire Bill Gates, plans to invest up to $ 15 B in clean technology projects in the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom. Breakthrough Energy Catalyst, which has raised $ 1.5 B in private equity from philanthropists and companies, will invest in four key areas: direct air capture, green hydrogen, aviation fuel, and energy storage technologies. The funds will be provided in the form of charitable donations, investments in promotions, and product purchase agreements.
