By the end of May, the ATB retail chain plans to resume operations at more than half of the 100 stores that are temporarily closed in the Kyiv region. Thus, by the end of May, more than 100 of the stores that had been temporarily closed will return to work, the report said. The first to reopen are stores that have been spared destruction and with minor damage, which after the departure of the invaders and the cessation of shelling and airstrikes, can work without major repairs, said ATB CEO Boris Markov. It is noted that due to the war, ATB was forced to suspend operations at a total of more than 200 stores: they were damaged, cut off from main communications, and it was impossible to deliver products due to active hostilities, such as enemy shelling, or seizure of territory.
