The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) has allowed MasterCard and Visa to reduce the interbank fee

, announced the Chairperson of AMCU, Olga Pishchanskaya. This decision will help increase non-cash payments and reduce the cost of consumers of acquiring services. After obtaining the permission of the AMCU, Visa and Mastercard will begin a gradual reduction of the interchange commission interest rate limits. In particular, the commissions should be: from July 1, 2022, not more than 1.0%, and from July 1, 2023 – not more than 0.9%. Currently, the interbank fee is 1.2%
