The anti-corruption and economic effect of digitization in Ukraine was estimated at UAH 16.3B.

Based on the results of two years, the potential impact is estimated at UAH 48B, the Ministry of Digitization reported, commenting on signing a memorandum of cooperation with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) on the implementation of digital solutions and acceleration of the digital transformation.

Priority anti-corruption projects are restoration, eExcise, automation of services for seafarers, and customs clearance in Diia. Furthermore, the Ministry of Digital Transformation will help NABU develop the concept of transparent and competitive public procurement in state IT. The cooperation also provides for online monitoring of the UAV procurement process for the needs of the security and defense forces of Ukraine.

In addition, a team from the Ministry of Statistics will help NABU implement modern IT tools and artificial intelligence technologies for the anti-corruption bureau’s more efficient operation.
