Terrorists attack Crocus City Hall: Russia tries to blame Ukraine, but ISIS takes responsibility.

On the evening of March 22, gunmen attacked the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. A fire also broke out during the attack, leaving 137 dead and another 180 people injured.

The Russians claimed that, “a window was prepared” for the suspects to cross the border into Ukraine.

Intelligence from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that this statement “does not withstand any criticism.” They added that this terrorist attack is a deliberate provocation by Putin’s regime to change the narrative in the international arena and transform the aggressor’s image into that of a victim.

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that Ukraine has nothing to do with the terrorist attack.

The White House noted that it does not see any signs of Ukraine’s involvement in the attack. At the same time, the US is convinced of ISIS’ involvement in the terrorist attack and warned Russia in advance about the threat.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the terrorist act.
