South Korea is preparing to participate in Ukraine’s reconstruction.

In preparation for this, the country allowed thirty businessmen to visit Ukraine to approve possible reconstruction projects, reports Yonhap. Many Korean companies are expected to visit the country to explore opportunities for participation in potential reconstruction projects. Construction and infrastructure companies, utility and energy sector enterprises have already shown interest in the reconstructing of Ukraine.

The South Korean delegation headed by Minister Won Hee-ryong plans to visit Ukraine to discuss reconstruction projects with officials in Kyiv. Separately, the Ministry of Industry is organizing its delegation of energy and manufacturing companies, which plans to visit Ukraine in October. Such efforts accelerated after President Yoon Suk-yeol visited Ukraine in July and promised security, humanitarian, and reconstruction assistance.
