Since the war, the profits of Ukrainian banks have decreased by more than 80%.

During January-October, the gains from Ukrainian banks decreased by more than 80%. According to Opendatabot reports, banks earned only UAH 11B last year, this figure was previously UAH 58B. Of the 67 banks in Ukraine, a third, 21 banks, ended the period with losses of UAH 19B. The total profit of banks with positive dynamics for ten months amounted to UAH 30B. The share of state banks in the total profit is the largest. Over the year, their percentage increased to 62.5%. The shares of banks with foreign capital decreased to 26%, and banks with private capital from 18% to 11.5%. In first place is PrivatBank with a profit of UAH 17.8B (-33%). At the same time, the share of Privatbank is 59% of the profit of all banks with positive capital. Out of 16 banks with foreign capital, only nine were profitable.
