Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has increased its export of agricultural products by 5%.

This season, exports of Ukrainian grains and oilseeds may fall to an eight-year low.

According to the Ukrainian Agricultural Export Association, in the first half of the year exports of agricultural products from Ukraine amounted to about $12.4B, 5% more than in the corresponding period of 2023.

It is noted that revenues from the export of meat and meat by-products increased by 15% and amounted to $505M. Poultry remains the defining product, which is exported in natural and value terms at 226,000 tons worth $463M.

The export of dairy products increased to almost $98M (+3%). More than 33,000 tons of eggs worth $34M were also exported. The sale of Ukrainian honey increased significantly, by 95%, reaching 48,000 tons worth over $91M (+52%).

Also, according to the results of the first six months of this year, onion and garlic exporters increased their income significantly to $2.3M, and exports of frozen vegetables almost doubled to $5M. Revenue from the export of fruits, berries, and nuts increased by 50% to $143M.
