Since the beginning of the war, the labor market in Ukraine has recovered by 93%, and the average salary has increased by 30%.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the labor market has recovered by 93% in terms of vacancies.

Work.ua research shows that Ukrainians prefer to work remotely. At the same time, after the start of the full-scale invasion, the number of telecommuting vacancies decreased four times. However, in January 2024 there were already 3% more remote work offers than in January 2022. However, the average competition for remote work increased by 63%.

It is worth noting that almost a year after the start of the war, the average salary in Ukraine had not changed and amounted to ₴15,000 ($375). Only in January 2023 did this indicator began to grow.

Over the past two years, the average salary has increased by 30%. The trend is recorded in all regions of the country. In absolute terms, residents of the Kyiv region have the highest income, but salary growth here is the slowest (20%).
