The Russian invaders have already exported several hundred thousand tons of grain from the temporarily occupied territories in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions. The losses of Ukrainian farmers may total hundreds of millions of dollars, said the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, Taras Vysotsky. According to him, the farm stocks in these areas, which were formed for sowing as well as for processing (for making flour, baking bread), contain about 1.5 million tons of grain. At international prices, it is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. And there is a significant risk that it will simply be stolen from Ukraine by the Russian occupiers, said Vysotsky.
