Russian rockets have landed in Poland, killing 2 people.

Two missiles or rockets are reported to have hit a farm in Poland, near the border with Ukraine, causing two civilians deaths. Polish media showed an image of a deep impact crater and an upturned farm vehicle near the town of Przewodow. At the moment it remains unclear where the missiles originated from. However, the rockets landed at roughly the same time as the Russian missile attack on western Ukraine. A government spokesperson said that Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki had convened the Committee of the Council of Ministers for National Security and Defense Affairs. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is expected to speak with his Polish counterpart later this afternoon, according to European and US military officials.
