Russian invaders have stolen 300,000 tons of farm products from the Zaporizhzhia region.

In 2022, the invaders stole and sold 300,000 tons of grain, oil, and leguminous crops in the territories of the Zaporizhzhia region that is temporarily occupied by the Russians, according to the Center of National Resistance. According to the occupation administrations in the Zaporizhzhia region, ten “state-owned grain operator” branches were created to receive agricultural products in the area, which then resold the grain from the temporarily occupied territories. In other words, the grain was “nationalized.” Further, this organization, run by Russian authorities, has already transferred the grain to companies related to the occupiers, and they resold it at market prices.
