Russian and Belarusian mineral fertilizers

The court seized a bulk shipment of mineral fertilizers of Russian and Belarusian production, with a total value of almost UAH 100M ($2.7M). The products were found in 170 wagons in the Mykolaiv seaport, which is part of the business structure of the sanctioned oligarch Dmytro Firtash. The total volume of the seized property is 11,800 tons. The fertilizer arrived in Ukraine even before the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion and was in the transit state. The cargo belonged to two foreign companies – Uralkali and Belaruskali. According to the SBU, the product owners planned to sell it and receive millions of dollars in profits, part of which, in the form of taxes, would finance the war against Ukraine.
