The Kremlin does not see the possibility of exchanging the People’s Deputy, former co-chairman of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” party Viktor Medvedchuk, for captured Ukrainian servicemen. “As for the exchange, which was talked about with such enthusiasm and pleasure by various figures in Kyiv, Medvedchuk is not a Russian citizen. He has nothing to do with the special military operation. He is a foreign politician,” said the spokesman of Russian President Dmitry Peskov. “We do not know whether Medvedchuk wants any involvement from Russia in resolving this situation,” said Peskov.
Russia will not consider exchanging Pro-Kremlin politician Medvedchuk for captured Ukrainian soldiers.
