British intelligence has reported that the aggressor state is prioritizing the southern Donetsk front. There, the Russian army advanced in several areas of the front across a 20 kilomter width. In this sector, Russia maintains a favorable balance of power, which partially explains the acceleration of the Russian offensive’s pace. In addition, Moscow continues to recruit large numbers of personnel to support their operations in southern Ukraine.

In the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where Ukraine controls about 600 square kilometers of territory, the first combat between Ukrainian and North Korean troops took place, said Ukrainian intelligence. Also, the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation at the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko, said that the first North Korean military personnel came under fire in the Kursk region.

Information about the first battles between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and North Korean forces was also confirmed by Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov. According to President Zelenskyy, 11,000 troops from the DPRK are already in the region.
