Russia once again attacked the south of Odesa: drones fell in Romania, but they denied it.

On the night of September 4, air defense forces destroyed 23 of the 32 kamikaze Shahed-136/131 drones launched by the invaders into Ukraine’s southern and eastern regions. According to the Odesa Administration, the rockets damaged several settlements in the Izmail region, warehouses and production buildings, agricultural machinery, and commercial industrial equipment. An infrastructure object in the Dnipropetrovsk region was also hit in the attack.

Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, said that according to the State Border Service, Russian UAVs fell and detonated on the territory of Romania during the attack on Izmail port. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Ukraine’s partners to accelerate Ukraine’s provision with additional modern anti-missile and anti-aircraft defense systems to strengthen the protection of both Ukrainian infrastructure and neighboring states.

However, the Ministry of National Defense of Romania denied the existence of any Russian drones on its territory and rejected the notion of a direct threat to their country.
