Russia has forced Europe to give $300B of its gold and currency reserves to Ukraine.

The Kremlin’s energy blackmail will push Europe to hand over $300B of Russian gold and currency reserves to Ukraine as reparations. According to the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, Denys Malyuska, Ukraine’s Western partners have a political agreement to give the $300B in seized Russian assets to Ukraine. Still, an appropriate legal mechanism needs to be developed. He specified that Ukraine is working on creating such a legal instrument – an international treaty. “This will be a major international agreement to which countries will be able to join and, for its implementation, transfer assets to us and remove immunity from the assets of the Russian Federation,” Malyuska explained.
