The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Serhiy Lavrov, said at a press conference at the United Nations that the discussions regarding the second Peace Summit and the Ukrainian Peace Formula were “absolutely unacceptable” for the Kremlin.
“Talking about what the participants of the potential second Peace Summit will be doing, everyone in one way or another formulated one-sided, absolutely unacceptable for us – and for many others who are sincerely interested in peace – approaches,” noted Lavrov.
At the same time, the EU has repeatedly stated that the only plan for ending the war in Ukraine that they are considering is the peace formula proposed by President Zelenskyy.
It should be noted that Lavrov appreciates the position held by the US senator and potential vice president, Jay D. Vance, who plans to cut the US’ military and economic support of Ukraine.
