Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine: Kyiv was attacked twice in one night.

Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny said that during the nighttime missile strike that Russia fired 18 missiles at Ukraine. In particular the enemy launched six Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles from six MiG-31K aircraft. The occupiers also launched nine Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea and three ground-based missiles from the S-400 and Iskander-M.

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said all air-launched ballistic targets were directed at Kyiv. Air defense forces destroyed all 18 rockets.

However, later that night, the occupiers attacked Kyiv again with Shahed-136/131 attack drones and Orlan-10 and Supercam reconnaissance UAVs. They were also destroyed.

The capital authorities emphasized that the attack on Kyiv this night was exceptional in munition volume because the enemy launched the maximum number of missiles in the shortest period. This is already the eighth attack on Kyiv in a month.
