Following the 27th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues in Ukraine in the Ramstein format, held on April 11 with 51 states participating, Ukraine’s allies committed to a substantial increase in assistance to Kyiv, exceeding $21B.
The announced support:
- Germany will transfer four IRIS-T air defense systems along with 300 interceptor missiles for these systems, in addition to 30 Patriot missiles, armored vehicles, and 100,000 artillery shells. The additional assistance, to be delivered by 2029, will reach €11B.
- Britain will contribute £450M (€519M) for hundreds of thousands of FPV drones, radar systems, and repairs to previously supplied equipment.
- Norway has allocated £100M to fund the UK’s aid package, joining the drone coalition. Overall, the country has increased its military support by €5B in 2025. Norway has announced €1B in aid for ammunition and air defense, and €830M for equipment and training.
- Belgium will allocate €1B for military aid.
- Denmark has announced a military aid package valued at nearly €900M.
- Lithuania will allocate €20M for ammunition purchases.
- Estonia will transfer 10,000 artillery shells.
- The Netherlands is providing €150M to enhance Ukrainian air defense.
- Canada has sent 40,000 engines for CRV-7 missiles.
- Germany and 10 other countries have formed a new electronic warfare coalition.
