The Cabinet of Ministers approved a new procedure for implementing the Grants for Processing Enterprises program, introducing a new direction. Now, processing enterprises affected by Russian aggression can receive up to ₴16M ($380,000) for the purchase, delivery, and installation of new equipment. The changes will help enterprises restore lost capacity, create new jobs, launch additional production lines, and ensure stable growth.
Businesses can receive a grant with a co-financing requirement of 20/80 of the project cost. Specifically, to obtain the maximum grant of ₴16M, the applicant’s own contribution must be ₴4M ($95,000).
The program has been updated to include enterprises growing perennial crops registered in the State Agrarian Register, which can now receive a grant for purchasing equipment for post-harvest processing of agricultural products. As well, grant funds can now be used to acquire intangible assets, including conducting research that is necessary to launch new products into mass production.
