President Zelenskyy indicated that Ukraine is exploring the option of an international meeting that would include high-level delegations from Russia, the US, and potentially representatives from the EU and the UK. This meeting could be held in Turkey, the Vatican, or Switzerland, depending on which location is able to facilitate such an event.
The Ukrainian president also stated that Ukraine will not withdraw its troops, does not plan to adopt neutralality, and remains committed to joining NATO. Furthermore, Zelenskyy highlighted that the ceasefire memorandum discussed by the US and Russian leaders during a phone call may be established in a bilateral manner.
“Once Kyiv receives appropriate signals from Moscow, it can develop its vision for this memorandum. The specific contents of the document are currently uncertain,” Zelenskyy remarked.
Russian President spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that there are no set deadlines for drafting the proposed memorandum; its formulation will be a collaborative effort between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in a singular document.
