Polish companies are preparing to rebuild Ukraine, and constant contact is being maintained with them, said the Polish government’s commissioner for the reconstruction of Ukraine, Pawel Kowal.

“We are additionally working with selected industries such as construction and aviation,” Kowal added.

As noted by the Polish Economic Institute, there are manufacturing sectors within Polish industry that can receive economic benefits from the reconstruction of Ukraine through the export of their products. One key area is window production. Polish companies face competition from German and Danish manufacturers in the EU market. Therefore, the possibility of expanding to the Ukrainian market, where demand for these products is growing, is essential. Polish manufacturers also offer finishing and building ceramics and household appliances.

Poland emphasizes that the interstate economic partnership should develop in a strategic direction that involves long-term investment. Ukraine needs stable economic development and integration with the EU, which in turn will benefit the Polish economy.
