Warsaw can offer Kyiv expert consulting services regarding the implementation of investment related to airports, as well as their further development, states the Ministry of Regional Policy of Poland. Polish Deputy Minister Marcin Horal and Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Zvarych also discussed the deepening of cooperation in the implementation of the high-speed railway project between the two countries and the related revision of the trans-European transport network TEN-T. In addition to the “Warsaw-Kyiv” railway connection through Jagodyn, the Polish side wants to propose a new route connecting many Polish and Ukrainian cities. In particular, the Polish company Central Communication Port plans to build a railway connection, Lublin – Zamosc – Belzec, to the border with Ukraine. On the Ukrainian side, this route could be extended through Rava-Ruska to Lviv and Kyiv. In the future, railway lines could extend from the Carpathians to Black Sea ports in Ukraine and Romania, the Polish government official added.
