Poland is one of Ukraine’s leading allies in terms of the economic, political, humanitarian, and military support it has provided and is an influential leader in the tank coalition. “Today we can announce that the first tanks from Poland are already in Ukraine and are strengthening our defense,” said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Kyiv. Moreover, the head of the Polish government said that his country is ready to conduct training for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. “I want to emphasize that this should always be agreed upon in the wider coalition. Poland is ready to conduct such training. Ukrainian skies must be safe in the end,” added Morawiecki.
