PACE calls to establish an international criminal tribunal on Russia’s aggression.

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe expressed its full support for all efforts to investigate Russia’s international crimes in Ukraine and called for establishing an international tribunal. The assembly, which has expelled Russia, approved the resolution based on a report by German MP Frank Schwabe, head of the Socialist Group in PACE. PACE said it was “concerned about the growing number of testimonies of atrocities committed by the Russian armed forces” and expressed its full support for all efforts to investigate Russia’s violations of international human rights and humanitarian law and other international crimes, including war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide as well as ensuring the aggressor takes responsibility for its actions.
