Over 400 grain silos will be built in Ukraine, along with dozens of processing and logistics hubs.

AgHoldCo will implement a large-scale project that will involve building hundreds of grain silos in Ukraine with a total capacity exceeding five million tons for simultaneous storage, as well as creating extensive logistics and processing hubs, said AgHoldCo co-founder Vitaliy Skotsyk.

“In fact, this is such a large project that it involves the construction of 409 elevators for small farmers and communities and 24 regional bioclusters, where this grain will be collected, processed into biofuel, compound feed and many other things, and three dry ports,” he detailed.

According to Skotsyk, during the first stage of the project 154 elevators are planned for construction on the right bank of the Dnipro River. He noted that the completed elevators will be leased to farmers through municipal enterprises for 22 years.

As UBN has previously reported, the large-scale project will begin in the Lviv region, where an elevator capable of storing up to 30,000 tons of grain will be built, along with a dry port. The project is being financed by AgHoldCo, with support from the UAF Partners investment fund and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO).
