NSDC orders government to plan for transition to market prices for electricity for households.

The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare the procedure for a gradual transition to economically reasonable prices for electricity for household consumers by December 31, 2021. It follows from the NSDC decision of July 30, 2021 “On measures to neutralize threats in the energy sector,” which was enacted by presidential decree No. 452/2021 of August 28.
