The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) on providing financial assistance to relocated enterprises. The document will make it possible to provide additional financial aid to relocated enterprises to adapt more quickly and increase production capacity in new regions.
The NRC will independently select businesses to receive assistance. First, the following criteria will be considered: the company has moved to the Lviv or Ternopil regions, has a clear business model, and the potential to create jobs, especially among young people, women, and people with disabilities.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the NRC plans to provide direct assistance to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises for 12 months.
