“Sanctions against the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline should be part of the package of sanctions that will be imposed in the event of a full-scale military invasion by the Russian Federation, and these sanctions should deter Putin in the event of further military aggression,” said CEO of Naftogaz Yuriy Vitrenko. According to him, currently, Ukraine and Naftogaz Ukrainy are in negotiations with Western partners and are primarily focused on opposing the commissioning of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Nord Stream 1 should be in a package of sanctions.
Russia may stop supplying gas through Nord Stream-1 in July.
