The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has limited the withdrawal of money from the account of UAH 100,000 ($3,450) per day, while non-cash transactions are not limited, said the head of the central bank Kyrylo Shevchenko. “We do not restrict any non-cash transactions. We limit the withdrawal of cash from the client’s account in the amount of UAH 100,000 per day, excluding salaries and social benefits,” he said in a video message on Thursday. Banks are opening and continuing to work, he said.
