NATO summit: Ukraine will receive long-range missiles, non-lethal weapons, more support, and training of F-16 pilots.

France has decided to transfer long-range missiles to Ukraine. Specifically, these weapons are 50 SCALP missiles, an upgrade from the Storm Shadow already provided by Britain.

South Korea has sent a plane with humanitarian and military logistics support to Ukraine after the country’s president went to Lithuania.

Norway has decided to increase this year’s Ukrainian military support to $950M. Norway will also increase its contribution to the NATO support fund for Ukraine to $22M annually – $110M over five years.

Canada also promised more support.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, said that on the sidelines of the summit Ukraine and France will sign a memorandum on training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter jets. The parties also signed an agreement that increases military aid by €170M and simplifies the process of purchasing and supplying weapons to Ukraine.
