From July 20, all ships bound for Ukrainian ports will be considered potential military cargo carriers. And the countries under whose flags these vessels will be regarded as “involved” in the war on the side of the Kyiv. In addition, some maritime areas in the northwestern and southeastern parts of the international waters of the Black Sea have been declared “temporarily dangerous for shipping.”
At the same time, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he plans to discuss with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, how to guarantee the safety of grain ships in the corridor. The Ukrainian government intends to discuss this issue with Turkey and Ukraine’s other partners. The Ukrainian president states that private shipping companies and grain traders are ready to continue shipping products from Ukrainian seaports.
