Almost half of the facilities damaged by Russia’s aggression have already been fully or partially restored in the Kyiv region – more than 12,500 out of 27,700 facilities, said Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv regional military administration.

The priority is the restoration of critical infrastructure and housing. “After all, in addition to returning to their homes, people want to enjoy proper social and living conditions and services, have access to high-quality medicine, education, etc.,” he noted.

More than 11,100 multi-apartment and private buildings, 187 kindergartens and schools, 101 medical institutions, 68 administrative buildings, and health centers have been restored.

More than 27,400 objects were damaged or destroyed in the Kyiv region as a result of Russian military aggression, of which more than 24,500 were housing.
