Military aid to Ukraine is the main agenda for the EU summit on March 23-24.

Heads of EU governments will gather for a two-day summit of the European Union in Brussels. The Chairman of the European Council, Charles Michel, said in the invitation letter that the meeting will be devoted to “key geopolitical issues and global challenges,” including military aid to Ukraine.

The ministers also plan to discuss the use of frozen Russian assets.

On March 24, the Eurozone summit “in an inclusive format” will be held with the participation of the leaders of all 27 countries of the union, as well as the head of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, and the head of the Eurogroup, Pascal Donoghue, to discuss the economic and financial situation.

Moreover, the EU summit’s draft statement contains references to new sanctions and oil price restrictions.
